Decorators and designers use fractions, decimals, and percents everyday. When we need to cut fabric or make patterns, we must use measurements in decimals or fractions. We figure our profits in percentages. The company I work for gets a percentage of the profit I make. I also must figure the cost of my materials as percentage to calculate my earnings.
