Hello,my name is Diego and I want to be a mechanic when I grow up. How do you use fractions in your job?
When you work in the automotive business, it is very important to know about percents, decimals, and fractions. Cars are made of fractional parts and the fluids that enter a vehicle are measured with the metric system. As part of figuring my profit I use percentages. For example, if the parts or the paint costs too much, then I do not make much profit. Hopefully this will help you.
