Hi my name is Devon Cooper.I want to be a referee. How did you become a referee.
Do you use fraction refering games
Hello Devon! I am a coach and in my spare time I referee. To become a referee for ages 5-14 you have to take a long weekend certification course. If you would like to referee the high school level you would need to do the certification course and attend referee meetings.
While coaching I use fractions and percentages a lot. I use them when figuring out how many shots were taken on goal and how many shots were made. I also figure out the percentage of shots saved by the goalie.
