When on an archeological dig, I must divide the area being dug into fractional parts...like a grid. We also talk about artifacts that are restored in percentages. For example, if we were to find a fossil, we could say that we retored 87% of it. WE also use several different types of tools that are measured with decimal numbers. I might use a 0.5 mm chisel. If you need more information about the tools I use, you can search them on the internet. I hope that I have helped you with your math class!
thank for the wonderfull info it will be very usefull considering im the only one that want to have a job like this for a career! and i want to know if tou have ever left the continent to go on an archeological dig? one more thing if a bone is in half and you cant find the other half do you give the people that make the other half of the bone a fration to make the missing bone piece
